OMGOODNESS!! Nicest auto shop I've ever been to!! Everyone was sooo nice, polite and accommodating!They asked what I needed done and I explained as best I could. They took it from there. I was only located a block from the shop. Told them I would just walk but nooo, they drove me to my office. I called to check on the progress and they found they had forgotten to check about an item I needed for my wheel well.They got it done. Then came the shocker; they gave me the price which was at least a couple hundred BELOW, their original estimate. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It's very seldom you drive into an auto shop that doesn't just take your money. I recently had the pleasure of working with a mechanic shop that truly went above and beyond to help me with my car. From the moment I dropped it off early in the morning, I knew I was in good hands. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything that they would be doing during the inspection.Not only did they find the root of the problem with my car, but they also conducted a visual inspection to ensure that there were no other issues that needed to be addressed. Once the inspection was complete, they sent me a text with a detailed report of the maintenance that my car needed, including how urgent each repair was and an estimated cost for the repairs.One of the things that impressed me the most was the inclusion of videos in the report. These videos were incredibly helpful in helping me understand what was happening with my car and why the repairs were necessary. It was clear that the shop valued transparency and communication with their customers, which I really appreciated.Overall, I would highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and trustworthy service. They went above and beyond to ensure that my car was in the best condition possible, and the addition of the video report made the whole process much easier to understand. I stopped in during lunch to get my tire fixed. First Tire & Automotive sent pics of the issue and suggestions of items to take care of in the future. The guys would only work on the issue after you have given permission. The tire couldn't be patched and I decided to purchase a tire. I was updated that the tire was not in stock in house and that staff had left to pick it up at the other location. I was offered a shuttle ride back to work while they replaced my tire. The staff was warm, welcoming and I felt comfortable.

I brought my vehicle to First Tire & Automative after a near collision that left me with a messed up suspension. Unfortunately they couldn’t resolve the issue because the frame was found to be bent and they didn’t have the appropriate machine to bend it back into place. However from start to finish the team was exceptionally professional, understanding, and receptive to all questions and concerns I had. I went in for a leak and was told it was my oil pan gasket. Then I was told I also had a coolant leak. For half the price of another repair facility, I got two problems fixed, whereas, for twice the price, the other facility would have corrected one problem and charged for another part I didn't need. Something I appreciate immensely as I travel extensively.In response to some of the negative reviews, the pricing & election of services are very simple/straightforward. FT&A - Cinco Ranch makes service suggestions, most of which are based on the manufacturer's service schedule, but doesn't pressure anything. They simply provide a list of recommendations based on their assessment then allow you to select which services are to be completed. Sure enough the next morning I received a text telling me my tire was ready and for the same amount I was quoted with Dave the day before ! Which may not seem like a big deal to some but I’ve been misquoted a few times at other tire shops in the area so I was so happy with that ! Later that day I came for my tire and was met by one of the technicians (didn’t get his name 😩) who was very welcoming, polite and prompt ! The manager Tony rang us up ( with the same quote 🙌🏽😅) and we were finished within 10 minutes ! By far the best experience I’ve ever had with tire repair!! I will be recommending to everyone I know !

I came in for a tire rotation, alignment, and to have them checkout a knocking sound coming from my brakes. We've been using First Tire on Eldridge for many years. The very first time was when I took my wife's car to have her brakes checked. The dealership said the car needed new brakes. I took it to First Tire and they determined the car didn't need a brake job. From that point on, we've been returning to First Tire.After an oil change this past January , the mechanic recommended new tires and brakes. He added, "There's no hurry, but something you might need to plan." I was glad he did that because I knew the tires needed to be replaced. Today after I did some tire research, I took my wife's car in for new tires and brakes. The tire prices were only few dollars higher than Discount, but First Tire also had a $50 off coupon. So, in the long run the tires at First Tire were a better price. Of all the years we've been going to this First Tire they NEVER tried to pressure us into buying any service. They might recommend an alignment or filter change, but there's never any pressure to get the service done. I never worry when I take our cars into First Tire.UPDATE: I had a headlight go out on my wife's car. We had an extended warranty thru the dealership, but they said it would take 4-5 days to do the work. I went to First Tire on Eldridge and talked to the service rep Lawrence. He assured me they would work with the warranty company. Lawrence got the warranty approved, had the part delivered and installed in less than 6 hours. Not bad considering the hassle and time frame the dealer quoted. Thank you Lawrence and First Tire!

They advised me to get my car to the dealership and get them fixed for free as this should be covered under warranty. They didn't charge me for the inspection. I went to FT&A because my check engine light came on and my transmission was acting up. They ran the codes and identified that the TLM on the transmission was the problem. They told me I should take it to a Ford dealer because it could possibly be covered by Ford even though my 2013 F150 had 139K and way past warranty. Apparently Ford acknowledged the issue but has resisted a recall. Axel said, because the problem was a know issue with the 6-speed xmission in the year model of my truck, Ford might cover it. They could have taken me down the path of repairing it themselves and I would never have know the difference. I followed their advice and Ford is covering the cost of parts and labor for the repairs. The staff of FT&A were very ethical, treated me well and even though they didn't make any money off the deal, they certainly went above and beyond in customer service.

These guys are wonderful--and convenient! I drive cars forever, which makes a great repair shop a necessity. For the decade-plus that I drove my '94 Miata, I went to an incredible mechanic waaaaay across town who was all by his lonesome. This meant fighting rush hour trafffic and inconveniencing friends and family to get home and back to pick up my baby. Every time.When I got the '07 Infiniti G35 coupe, I was floundering. I tried a couple of shops near my brother's house, to make it more convenient for him to pick me up and drop me off. They weren't horrible, but...Then along came the pandemic and the G had to be inspected. Strictly by the grace of God, I blundered into First Tire & Auto Sugar Land. They picked up my car, inspected it, brought it home and disinfected it in my garage!!! I was absolutely dazzled.Not long thereafter, my car overheated. Same routine. They rescued me. Price was reasonable, service was great. This past week, same song, third verse, in honor of the wretched Delta variant and my vaccine's loss of efficacy, they picked up the G, inspected it, changed the oil, returned it and disinfected it in my garage!After my first encounter with these people, a neighbor/friend whose opinion I value highly told me they were family owned and known for their honesty. High praise, coming from someone in the same business. In today's world, I feel truly blessed to have found them.

Booking an appointment is very easy online and you receive text notifications on your pending appointment date and time. Due to the Texas winter of 2021 (who will ever forget), on the day of service, the shop was 3-men down so we were told to expect the car back a little later. The car was checked in and we agreed on the service. About 2-3 hours later, we received a text containing a link to required services (new battery, flushing, oil change, state inspection etc). We were to either approve or decline online which jobs we wanted completed and it then would give us a final estimated bill including tax.My wife called them up to discuss the new battery and the person on the other end of the phone went through all the points raised. When she came off the phone, she was happy "yeah, I am woman and know nothing about cars but he treated me with respect and talked me through it". Nice touch! FT&A.A couple of hours later our car was ready. Final bill was also slightly less than was estimated. This is where Mam's cars will going for servicing from now on.

I brought my Yukon XL to check why AC wasn’t working. They figured out my car had no Freon left. They called the dealership for me to see if it was under warranty. They didn’t have to do that. I really appreciated them checking. Turns out it wasn’t under warranty, so they fixed the issue. I will continue to bring my vehicles to them. Highly recommend, very friendly service!

I have been taking my car to First Tire on Eldridge for about 8 years. I feel they are straightforward and don't try to push for services I don't yet need to do. Manager Luis Gonzalez is a very nice guy and takes the time to answer all questions. If there is an unforeseen issue he will make it right. I also appreciate the complimentary rides to and from home so they can keep the car for a day or overnight.

I had a cvt transmission fluid change. They allowed the transmission to cool adequately before changing it. They are an AAA approved shop. Very clean shop with a friendly front desk.

I really appreciated the service I received from First Tire & Automotive. I went there for the first time this past Wednesday. They did my inspection promptly and I received excellent customer service. On my phone, I found a thorough diagnostic report of what needed to be repaired and replaced which I hadn't gotten from any other auto repair company that I have been to previously. The shuttle service came in so handy for me as well.Lawrence and the front office staff are amazing, patient, and courteous professionals! This was my first visit to the Katy location. I used the Sugar Land location last time and loved it. I'm closer to Katy and decided to give them a try. I am not at all disappointed. The were very kind and professional. The store was clean with comfortable seating. I feel confident that I don't need to go anywhere else for tire and oil service from now on.

Wow! I had a bid for this service at another auto shop. I had it done at First Tire for half the amount of the other bid. BUT here's the best part, they called with updates, gave an estimate when it would be ready AND it was ready for the original price when they said it would be. Very impressed!!

The first time I visited First Tire & Automotive was just to get my annual inspection done, but their quick and professional service impressed me so much that I decided to go back for any future problems. I have since been back for an emergency battery replacement as well as installation of a new set of tires - each time I was treated with the utmost courtesy and the work was done very efficiently. Working with Axel is especially great because he is incredibly honest and true to his word, which you sadly do not always find when working with other auto shops. Overall the team here always does a fantastic job, and I look forward to remaining a customer for a long time to come. I highly recommend this location for any auto needs!
